How does auto-splitting actually work?
When you log an expense, Tripsynk splits it across whoever was on that leg of the trip. Default is an even split, but you can switch to custom shares, percentages, or itemize line-by-line. The math updates for the whole group in real time.
Is my money safe?
Settlements run entirely on Stripe — we never hold your funds. Money moves directly between real bank accounts, and card details never touch our servers. Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Does everyone in the group need the app?
To settle up, yes — each person connects their own payout method through Stripe. But you can invite people with a single link, and they can browse the itinerary before signing up.
What currencies do you support?
40+ currencies. You can spend in one currency and settle in another — the exchange rate is snapshotted at the moment of each expense, so nobody argues about FX later.
What's the catch with the free plan?
No catch. Free covers up to 3 active trips with small groups and a 1.5% fee on settlements. Pro removes the caps and the fee, and adds receipt scanning, the AI planner, and the document vault.
